to a brand new shiny, sparkly week. This is Palm Sunday. A week from today is Easter.

So this week is known as Holy Week.

And now this is a week.

I mean, we've been in this season of Lent, a season of repentance,

a season of contemplation,

as we prepare our hearts for Easter,

as we consider, we're not here without cost.

Like, we're not, and none of this is happening without the rescue of God in our lives

and the cost is uh beyond comprehension and so before we get to Easter and just jump ahead and start celebrating the resurrection,

we have to understand that there was death before that.

So this is poem Sunday.

A day to commemorate Jesus going into Jerusalem.

I'm like this, he's not, he's got less than a week to live.

And so when we put it in that perspective, we can kind of take it on board and take it with

gratitude, of course, but take it with humility and gravity and even sadness and even self-reflection,

looking into our own hearts and lives, looking into the things that we're hiding,

looking at the things that actually we need to truly,

truly embrace, absorb, repent of, and move away from.

As we move toward resurrection, Sunday, new life, new birth, new nature.

So welcome to Holy Week.
