Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I'm Brian. It is great to be here with you today,

today and every day.

As we continue every day our relationship with the scriptures and

continue our journey through the year together around the global campfire.

So yesterday we finished the Torah, so the first five books of the Old Testament,

Genesis Exodus, Leviticus,

Numbers, Deuteronomy,

and we began to engage with the book of Joshua and we talked

about that and began the book of Joshua with spies going into the land this is

like like only the second with spies going into the land. This is like

like only the second time that we've kind of even been over there with spies.

And so now the spies have come back and we will pick up the story.

Joshua, chapters 3 and 4.

Early the next morning Joshua and all the Israelites left Acacia Grove and arrived at the banks of the Jordan River where they camped before crossing.

Three days later, the Israelite officers went through the camp,

giving these instructions to the people.

When you see the Levitical priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord Your God, move out from your

positions and follow them.

Since you have never traveled this way before, they will guide you.
