Today is the fourth day of April.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian.

It's great to be here with you today.

As we bring, well, the first time that we reached the end of a week in the month of April.

So we gather together as we always do here at the end of the week.

I would just think back for a second. It was just a week ago we stood here at the beginning of all of this.

Nothing had happened yet. Now it's all happened. And we just reflect back over it.

How did our intentions work out?

What were the times that we were,

we were paying attention and we did well

and what were the times that brought us challenges?

This is how we become...

This is, first of all, how we get eyes to see and ears to hear,

because we're paying attention to the impact of our lives.

We're not reacting.

We're not paying attention to everybody else's life.

We're paying attention to what's going on inside of us,

which is one of the primary things Jesus teaches.

And so being aware, it's a good, healthy thing.

Even though sometimes, you know, even sometimes we had to face ourselves in the mirror

and feel the shame of it for a second that leads us to repentance. So good to be here with you,

doing my own reflecting, glad that we're here to take the next step forward.
