Say one thing for Dunkin' Donuts.

Say they've got lots of donuts. Indeed. Look at all those donuts. Look at all the donuts to choose from. You know what I had last week? Actually, while Karen was away on her cruise, I have these weird things that happen every now and then. And it's like a strange thing like in my head and it's really awful for my body but I do it anyway and last week was a

donut binge. Ooh, what'd you have? Never in my life. I'm like, I'll eat a donut if it's there,

but I'm not, I don't seek out donuts. I could not drive by a Dunkin' Donuts last week without

stopping in and that included one night I went on a quest for a butternut crunch donut because two different places didn't have it. So I went to a third to get a butternut crunch donut. And by then I felt so entitled that I got two. Well, give me two butternut crunch donuts. Actually, what they said was, I said, do you have a butternut crunch donut on the drive-thru? And they said, we have two. And I said, I'll take the boat. I'm buying you out. You can then resell them in other stores. You know, the butternut crunch donut is worthy of questing. It's quite a tasty treat. It is delicious. But chocolate, chocolate glazed. I even went for several old-fashioned. Nice. Good choice.

Tonight I'm not going to eat a donut.

Good.

Now, you could, though, because there's plenty left because we have no guests.

It's just you and I here in Dunkin' Donuts tonight.

It is.

We did not want to spoil such an awesome read for anybody else.

No, tonight is book club night, right? It is book club night. And we are not going to do any summaries. We've heard you. And we agree with you. We agreed with you right out of the bat. So right out of the cage, crate, cave, whatever. We're assuming you've already read the first law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie.

If you have not. Just curious. If you've not, stop now because this is full. This isn't even like a few spoilers. We're going to tell you. We're going to talk to you like you know what happened and say, oh, my God, can you believe that scene? The ending of this trilogy. Yes. I've been waiting so long to talk to someone about it. Every time I try to talk to anyone else who's read the book, Craig somehow walks into the room, doesn't matter how far away he is, doesn't matter where in New England area I am. If I start to mention, can you believe the ending this part, Craig will just appear magically and say, say, hey, I haven't read it, right. including, I overheard at one point. Oh, no. Oh, no. Logan, of course. I was like, oh, crap. Because they were talking about the end of the book, and they said, Logan, of course. And that's all I heard. And for the next book and a half, I was like, shit, shit, I'm sorry. Grab, crap, crap, crap, right. Logan, of course. Logan, of course, what? Logan, of course dies. Logan, of course, kills somebody. Logan, of course, is the good guy at the end? I don't know. And any of those could be possibilities with damn Joe Abercrombie at the pen. Right, right. So, uh, let's get into this. Let's get into this. Okay, so we're talking the first law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie.

And of course, we always want to mention Stephen Pacey, the narrator, because he was awesome.

The plate itself was book one that came out in 2006.

So these have been out for a while.
