And so what is normally my busy time of year during the time where we produce our main stage play is um, is about quadrupley that busy because my partner and friend and mentor and, um, and, uh, principal, boss, uh, he retired last year.

And so I am the guy. I am the one who is doing it all, and it is daunting. So we're talking

25 years of being sort of the Man Friday kind of deal. I was the assistant director. I did

some direction. I did all of the stage violence direction. I did

some set design, especially things like fireplaces and stuff like that, where my terrain making

skills could be put to more theatrical uses. But I was, you know, I was secondary to a very experienced, very gifted man who could really

literally do it all. He was one of those guys who could, he is, he's still a friend of mine and

he's still alive, thank God. So, but he can do it all. He, as far as the theater goes,

he can do lighting design. He can do sound design. He had all of the

business stuff in his head. He can, he could do all of that. He did, he designed the sets. And on top of that,

he did all of the direction and everything else. So I find myself now stepping into a position where

there isn't anybody to do any of that stuff

other than me. So it's been a lot of on-the-job training. I have adapted and adjusted my classes
