This is the D6 generation. Dice are our vice.

0:18.0

Creating not too horrible content since 2008.

0:22.6

Are you crazy?

0:23.6

That's like 400 hours of gamer nonsense.

0:26.6

Oh, I think we D6 generation episode. I am super excited because day, today on the

0:49.1

show today, jeez, having a trouble today, John, you know, it's because I'm so excited.

0:53.6

So on the show today, my brother John is joining me.

0:55.8

And this is super exciting because we got a lot of great feedback when we did our D&D

1:00.6

live play, which started back in 2020, and then continued for a good amount of time.

1:06.4

However, due to life commitments and other things, there was really no way for me to continue

1:11.5

DMing that campaign.

1:14.5

And so we sort of put a pause on that for an indefinite amount of time.

1:17.2

However, John started up his own campaign.

1:21.1

And as most dungeon dragon players will know, it's much easier to be a player than a

1:26.8

dungeon master, certainly from a time commitment point of view. And so we thought after about, I don't know how many sessions had been now, John, but quite a few, we thought maybe it'd be kind of fun to share this one because we got a lot of feedback that folks really enjoyed the campaign, liked listening to just sort of, it was like listening and hanging out with your friends, play D&D. We thought wouldn't that be fun to bring back? And so to do that, we're going to be joining the campaign sort of in progress because we didn't start recording the early episodes. And so John and I thought it might be good to sort of have what we call, you know, episode zero, session zero, as they say in old playing games, right? It's like, let's get everybody up to speed on the world, the story so far. So if you do start jumping in, listening to these, you'll know what's going on. And I wanted John to start off with, we're going to this interview style, so I'm going to ask John a bunch of questions and kind of pretend I don't know what's going on. I theoretically I know what's going on, but we'll see what happens here.

Maybe John also leak out some information I'm not supposed to know yet. So that's also part of my clever plan. Or more likely information you're supposed to know and you forgot. That's probably it. Every dungeon matter. Because that happens a lot as a player. Biggest challenge. It's like, oh man, I hope, I sure hope they remember that little tidbit I gave them three sessions ago, because otherwise, never going to get through this door.

2:20.2

So. biggest challenge, right? It's like, oh, man, I sure hope they remember that little tidbit I gave them three sessions ago, because otherwise, we're never going to get through this door.

2:32.8

So let me start off with this question, John. So I think the biggest difference, you know, both you and I both been playing D&D since we were like, I don't know, 10, 12, some number like that. I think it's 12 for me and 10 for you or something. You introduced me when I was in third grade, so.

2:33.5

There you go.

2:34.4

So whatever age that was.

2:50.9

But what's interesting is, 12 for me and 10 for you or something. You introduced me when I was in third grade, so. There you go. So whatever age that was.

2:53.3

But what's interesting is you and I have obviously different DM styles a little bit,
