Summary

Howdy members of the D6G Generation, Here's the first shot at a new approach to our content, "D6G Pip's". Meaning instead of a massive episode we do a single segment. In this one Craig starts us off by describing a MASSIVE game of Warhammer 40,000 we played...over 280 power points. Ever IG model and Space Wolf model we owned was on and 4x8' table vs more pointy eared elves than we cared to count. It...was...awesome!!

This is a D6 generation PIP.

0:13.3

Yeah, one of those dots on the side of it.

0:15.6

It's a six-sided die.

0:16.9

Yeah, a pip, you know, a short bit, a little something.

0:20.7

Yeah, about anything gaming related.

0:22.3

Sometimes featuring Craig, sometimes featuring us.

We'll see what's coming up today. Hey, welcome to our first attempt at what Russ is going to call a D6G1 pip.

0:49.6

we are segueing the D6 generation into something new, something hopefully that's going to be a

1:05.4

little less work intensive so that we can focus on other things that we enjoy as much, that we haven't been

1:11.9

able to do as much of. And one of the ideas that we were kicking around was the idea of

1:17.8

the narrative battle report. Long time listeners will remember that I did a couple of these,

1:23.4

or one battle report. It was a war machine battle report. So you know how long ago that must have been.

1:29.1

And I also did a narrative audio explaining the background fluff of Malifo, right, when Malifo began.

1:39.6

And that actually was a pretty successful little piece to the point where weird miniatures actually used that themselves to promote the game early on.

1:52.1

So we thought maybe it would be cool to do a narrative battle report.

1:55.6

And the narrative battle reports have sound effects and character voices.

1:59.2

And so, um,

2:04.4

Russ and I went away this weekend to, uh, talk with some advisors and friends that we have built up over the, uh,

2:08.6

years in the,

2:09.3

in the industry about possible future steps for the D6 generation. And
