Then Nicole went to Tennessee for an automotive thing and came back with

whiskey cake.

No, but I would assume it is not unlike rum cake, but uses whiskey instead of rum. Jack Daniels in rum. Now, it's fitting we're talking about rum, though. So I see what you did there, because rum cakes, did you know, wait, is that Mike over there? Mike, how's it going? Hey, guys, how are you doing? Did you come all the way up from Miami just for one of those cronuts?

I did. I heard there was rum cake up here, too. There is. I've never seen that in a duck of donuts before. Russ finished the rum cake. I did finish the rum cake. It was embarrassing. Yes, and we are on record as being giant fans of pirates, the two of us. And this is great. It's all coming together. So we'll be talking with Mike in the main show here not too long from now about all the awesome that is blood and ponder. But, you know, you got me thinking about pirates correctly. We talked about rum cake. I didn't know this until I was down in the Caribbean and realized that, do you know who invented rum cakes? I think I already mentioned it in this segment. It's Blackbeard, Blackbeard himself, invented the rum cake. That's what you told me. That's right. Did you know that, Mike? I did not. I'll run this by my history and make sure it's actually. Yeah, exactly.

That's what they claim at Blockbears Rum Cakes. So who knows if it's true or not. But they tell me, which kind of makes sense because you figure, you know, if you know what your cake to go bad, you soak it in rum. How can you go wrong? That makes sense. They are very tasty, though.
