language all their own, while maintaining a romantic aura amongst many Americans who idealize

the concept of the rugged individual.

The primary apparatus for communication of for these knights of the highways is, of course, the CB or Citizens Band Radio.

Truckers in particular have come to use their own unique slang while talking to each other over the CB.
