A dye, plural dice, please, is a small throwable object with multiple resting positions used for generating random numbers. This makes dice suitable as gambling devices for games like

craps or for use in non-gambling tabletop games. The use of dice in gaming is extensive and

is reached into almost any type of gaming genre, and the innovative mechanics involved have

stretched not only the number of sides on a die, but the very concept of dice itself.
