stories. On Thursday, April 16th, 2006 at 4.30 in the afternoon, the Los Angeles

Police Department arrested 21-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, better known professionally as

David, with a four. You guys know what we're talking about.

On suspicion of murder, he is being held without bail. The case is scheduled to be presented to the Los Angeles

County District Attorney's Office on Monday, April 20th for filing consideration. The victim is Celeste Rivas

Hernandez, and she was 13 years old when

her family reported her missing from Lake Elsinore, California on April 5, 2024. On September 8th,

2025, LAPD officers were called to Hollywood tow after workers reported a foul odor coming from

an abandoned Tesla. Inside the front trunk, officers found a

cadaver bag containing a severely decomposed head and torso. Underneath it was a second bag containing

arms and legs. The body was identified on September 16th as Celeste, who would have turned 15 the day

before. The Tesla was registered in David's

real name to a Hempstead, Texas address. LAPD, Captain Scott Williams, said Celeste had been

dead for at least several weeks before her body was discovered, though the decomposition was too

severe to pinpoint a date. The cause of death has been deferred by the

medical examiner. For those catching up, David is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter who was born in

Queens, moved to Houston at 13, and started out streaming Fortnite gameplay on YouTube.
