So kind of almost like a little bit of a

clip notes version of some of what I talk about on here. So you can go to there for that. Also, I will be doing another podcast. I don't know if it's going to come out Friday or the next one will be Monday, but it'll be one of those days. For sure, Sunday nights slash Monday, but whether or not there's one for Friday, still working on something, and I'm not sure yet if that's going to come through,

but I still may have something. And I am trying to arrange an interview with Andre Carter, former Washington Redskinned defensive end, who coached with Durante Jones at LSU coach under him. So he's one of the few guys to talk to that knows what he's like as a defensive coordinator, how he handles things. So I'm hoping to bring him on soon, just have to arrange things. And for those wondering, like, he told me he doesn't want to coach anymore. I talked to him a couple days ago, so he doesn't want to coach anymore. So just, you know, take a deep breath. Anyways, so today I'm going to talk about a couple of things.

Really, just two things. The staff, well, three things. The staff, Durante Jones, and then Durand Payne. And I want to bring up pain because he's kind of been a topic of conversation this week just because of something Ben Standig wrote on his last man, Stanig substack, about his, you know, what's going to happen with him this year. and there's a good reason for why they may take the route they are.

So stay tuned for that. Also, all right, so let's get with the staff. The first thing I want to talk about is defensive staff because there's going to be changes. I've been talking about that. Even before they hired Durante Jones, you knew there's going to be changes to that defensive staff. You do not have a defense like that and then survive the way they, you know, to have it be most guys coming back.

Offensively, makes sense if they want to bring a lot of the same guys back.

I think we're still waiting to see, like, does Brian Johnson, does he feel passed over?

back? I think we're kind of waiting on that. But the defensive staff, you know, but excuse me,

offensively, the problem wasn't, the problem was the philosophical difference in how they saw

what they wanted the offense to be and where they wanted to go. It wasn't about the success or not.
