Welcome to Don't Miss This, another exciting spot in the Doctrine and Covenants.

Which, you know we're starting to get into a section that's heavy into the translation of the book of Mormon.

And we're talking a little bit before we started, that there's a lot of questions that people have about the Doctrine and Covenants.

And a lot of trouble sometimes people have with Joseph and stories that they hear in the history and stuff like that.

And we are going to start talking about those, they're going to come up because really in order to understand like kind of the power of the message you have to know what's going on behind the scenes.

Right?

So like once we set the stage, then it's all the said and, oh wait, they are a lot more like me than I thought they were.

You know?

Yeah.

But we're going to talk about today prayer and what a struggle it is for some people and the journey to learning that it can become a privilege and it can become a sweet relationship with God in heaven.

We're going to be talking about the spirit of revelation and some of the trouble that comes with that and some of the things that people yearn for and some of the things that people struggle with.

Like, am I hearing God speak? How is he moving and working?

We're going to talk about, I wish that was my calling or I wish that was my gift and how God moves them all together.

And it's just, it's fascinating how normal each of the people are that we read about and just how similar they are to us.

And how many of their concerns are actually our concerns?

And as we were talking today, we thought, we just help you know that as we dive into these things together, we want to dive into all of it.
