I had to look and see what our sections were for today, like how far it was actually going to go.

So if you watched last week's video, we said that this week kind of was really complimentary with some of the things that got introduced in section 46.

And so...

We kind of want to go there, should we?

Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Do you remember in 46, verse 7, when he said this, you are commanded in all things to ask of God who giveeth liberally, and that which the Spirit testifies unto you, even so I would that you should do, and all holiness of heart walking up rightly before me, considering the end of your salvation, doing all things with prayer and thanksgiving, that you may not be seduced by evil spirits, or doctrines of devils, or the commandments of men, for some are of men and others of devils.

Wherefore, beware, lest ye are deceived.

And then we took a little detour last week in a 46, 47, 48, but it's almost as if he just picks right back up right there on beware, lest you are deceived, and he jumps back into this conversation when we get to section 50.

So, kind of what's going on, we kind of alluded to this a little bit on our last week's lesson, but kind of... I mean, this is obviously in context of the culture that they're living in, and we've got some stories in here of kind of what's going on, I love that this book, it kind of goes through almost the journey of one person, Levi Hancock, he's somebody who will just be right there in the mix of everybody, and it kind of introduces a story where he first gets introduced to...

the restored gospel in the book of Mormon by his brother, and he feels compelled towards it, and he listens to what Joseph says, and that sounds familiar to him.

And so, it's neat just to kind of like hear him use words that describe, oh, okay, I just... And then he has a dream, where he feels as if the Savior invites him into the yoke with him.

And when he wakes up, he says, I thought that was maybe a dream from the Lord, I thought it was the Lord talking to me, and I felt willing to obey him.

The next day, the next day, yeah, no, one day soon after three of the elders of the church come to his house, I won't say their names, because then you'll never name a child after them, because of what happens, baby.

He never met him before, but they were kind of preaching and baptizing in the area, and it says they started to jump up and down, they swung from the rafters in the beams.
