What is that? You asked?

Oh, it is an Easter banner.

If you are new around here or if you're an old friend, hey, one thing you have known or might want to know is how much we adore and love Easter.

And you might be thinking to yourself, it is February.

Why do you want to be talking about Easter right now?

And what we want to tell you first of all is, well, first of all, I decorate for Christmas on November 1st, you should know that because it takes that long for my heart to get already for the celebration of Christmas.

And we love doing that same thing for Easter.

We want the countdown that prepare your heart time of getting ready for Easter, which is something we're not as familiar with, but there are people in the Christian world who are really good at that.

In fact, they take 40 days to prepare for Easter to come.

And so that's something we've kind of adopted over the last couple years.

And in the Christian world, it's called Lent.

And just like Advent, which is that period leading up to Christmas as an anticipation for the coming of Christmas,

Lent is a season that prepares your heart sacrificially and joyfully kind of at the same time to look forward 40 days leading up to Easter to just to ready your heart and home for that high and holy holiday.

We just consider the highest day of the year.

Yeah, and for Christians, what that looks like is to either let go of something for 40 days, or I have a good friend, I love that she lets go of something that is maybe keeping her away from a better relationship with Christ.
