On Nov 24, 1971, a man calling himself Dan Cooper hijacked a plane, demanded $200,000, parachuted into the night... and vanished without a trace. Was he a criminal mastermind? A military-trained pro? Or something more? In this episode, we break down the D.B. Cooper mystery—step by step. From his calm demeanor and clever tactics to the FBI’s massive (and failed) investigation, we explore theories, suspects, and why this case still captivates us 50+ years later. www.stayskeptical.com Watch: https://rumble.com/user/rabbitholepodcast https://www.youtube.com/@Rabbit.holepodcast Wise Wolf Gold: https://www.wolfpack.gold/?ref=jvujkwgs Sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jcwvgWpPz8GqLxNwpeJM7AHqBJL2O3JWVdE8ggKK7_8/edit?usp=sharing Learn more about your ad choices. On November 24, 1971, a nondescript man in his mid-40s hijacked Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 305.

1:08.9

This man went by the alias, Dan Cooper. Cooper was a quiet man wearing a

1:13.5

business suit with a black tie and a white shirt and brown shoes. He used cash to buy a one-way

was waiting to take off, he ordered a bourbon and soda,

although I've seen some sources say six, six, and some sources say four sticks.

2:10.6

We're going to go with eight tied to a battery with wires kind of going all over the place.

2:15.6

He then ordered her to write down and deliver to the pilot that he demanded four parachutes,

2:18.1

two front and two back parachutes, and $20,000 and $20 bills delivered to him on the plane when they landed in Seattle. That's equivalent to about

2:24.8

$1.5 million today. And by requesting two sets of parachutes, it implied that he was going to take a
