Get comfortable. We're going to walk through what was an absolutely unusual day in the legal trials, tribulations, and skirmishes over defendant

Donald Trump. We are tracking, as my colleague just mentioned, major developments across three different cases.

Two courtrooms were in action today.

In Georgia, we saw the most significant day since perhaps the dramatic confessions and sentencing of other

Trump co-defendants in that case, but we saw for the first time the DA leading the case,

RICO DA Faniani Willis taking the stand and

testifying which itself was a surprise last minute move. While in New York

the other side of your screen we got it. The first scheduled criminal trial of defendant Donald Trump.

That case you may recall was not supposed to go first. There are a lot of reasons and

legal reasons and delays that have led to this outcome.

But we got today the first scheduled criminal trial

of former president, current candidate,

and defended Trump.

And we got an absolutely intense set of clashes, skirmishes, and high stakes legal battles as DA Willis took the stand for the first time in Georgia.

If you turned on any news channel, any cable news channel, you would have seen the exact same thing.

This is one of those big news events that there was no disagreement about across this channel

you're watching and the other one, CNN that other one Fox Media, all of them

carried a large part of this live because this was a huge deal to see the effort to

disqualify her, culminate in her taking the stand today.
