Here we go. Wednesday, April 4th, 2018, and as you listen to this Savecast, hopefully the Masters

Par 3 contest is going on unaffected by weather.

It is one of the great traditions and one of the great moments in

sports and I will get gushy and I will get sentimental right here on my own

Zabcast because I love what the game of golf does as a game.

It bridges generations and you see this in effect at the par three every year.

It allows old people to play with young.

It allows serious people to play with silly people.

It allows people who try hard to play with people who just enjoy the walk.

And it lets living legends in the game, past champions, Nicholas, player,

Palmer when he was still alive, on the line Treveno didn't play not the

Masters but it's too bad still the Masters legends get to tee it up at the par three. In fact, Augusta will allow non-masters

winners to play in the par three as sort of an exhibition. I believe that

Norman has played in it before a couple of times and some of the guys

that didn't win the green jacket that they're brought along because it was good

for the game and it's just great that these living legends are still able to play a miniaturized version of the game
