There have been occasional sightings of him according to this story in oh God I forgot I just clipped and pasted

I would give him credit, but okay.

There had been occasional sightings of Al Franken in Washington. People mentioned having glimpsed him riding the metro or browsing alone in a bookstore.

There was gossip that he had fallen into a deep depression and that he had been seen in a fetal position on a friend's

couch. Well, it's probably how you have to lie on a couch unless it's really long.

But Franken had experienced one of the most abrupt downfalls in recent political memory.
