radio is such an interesting business and by interesting I mean screwed up, inept, crazy, laughable at times. I've seen my share of screw-ups firsthand at the station I'm

currently at in Washington DC. Doesn't mean that I haven't worked with a lot of

good people, a lot of mediocre people who are well meaning and then there is some downright

out downright lying and competent scheming assholes but for the most part decent people and then some decent people who are just

overwhelmed and don't quite know what they're doing and so bad decisions get made. I'm glad to know

that I'm not alone in this regard because the Padres flagship sports

radio station is having a very rough year. In fact a worse year than even the

Padres themselves.

97.3, the fan, has seen a 0.0 rating recorded among men 25 to 54 in the mornings.
