We'll start with this. Is there a quarterback shortage coming in the NFL?

I know I scoffed a couple of episodes at Drew McGarry saying that the NFL is more than sustainable

and that any notion that it's not is pure fantasy. But are we heading towards a quarterback shortage? Answer, quick answer, short

answer is no. We could lose a lot of stars though in the next couple of years and

that will be an interesting period for the NFL. We're just going to have to make

more Patrick Mahomes I guess. This from David Murphy, writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer,

under the headline, the NFL's real existential crisis

might be a looming quarterback shortage.

He talks about how every summer the turnover on 53-man rosters is constant.
