Into the Teeth of the Summer Doldrums.

I just got back from my in-laws in Collegeville PA. My brother-in-law Todd, that's right, the brother-in-law who

knows just enough about sports to be dangerous and really has relished that

title now. And my sister-in-law Yvonne have a backyard in-ground swimming pool.

Ah, it is glorious. I got to say that even though I grew up on the quote mean streets of

McLean Virginia very few of my friends had in-ground swimming pools and

those who did and there was a couple

Kaean putbreece had an in-ground swimming pool.

Andy Lee of course the best man in my wedding had a swimming pool. Andy Lee, of course the best man of my wedding, had a swimming pool.

You know, it was the province of the rich, I mean like the rich rich to have a swimming pool not that they acted rich per se you know

Andy Lee's father was a doctor and he's a doctor and he's a doctor and his sister is a doctor

and his brother is a doctor, and his brother is a doctor, they're all doctors.

And they're just great, great people.

They didn't act rich, but you know, they had a nice house with a pool.
