Hey, gang. Today I'm interviewing my friend Cyrus Kumbada, PhD. He's a New York Times bestselling

co-author of the book, Mastering Diabetes. You might remember an interview I did with his co-author,

Robbie. That was the one I will link to it in the show notes where Robbie is basically giving me

a tropical fruit taste test in his hotel room.

And it's a really fun one.

So that was fun.

And Cyrus and Robbie have helped more than 10,000 people reverse the underlying cause of insulin

resistance.

This is a really important topic.

So many people are confused about insulin resistance and what causes it.

We'll get into that.

Cyrus has a Bachelor of Science and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford, PhD, and

nutritional biochemistry from University of California, Berkeley.

And he's an expert in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

He's been living with type 1 diabetes since 2002,

and he's reduced his insulin use by more than 40% using food.

And a very specific way of eating, which we'll get into.

And their company, mastering diabetes, was actually acquired by another health and wellness

company called Love Life last year.

So we may talk about that or not, I don't know.

But anyway, they're still running this organization and helping people master diabetes
