We're all familiar with Cynthia's career as an accomplished actor. She is, in fact,

just one Oscar away from that elusive egot. She began performing at age 12 to save up money for college,

because education was always the priority, even when she started landing prestige roles on stage

and screen. Growing up in a middle class class one-parent household, Cynthia was a public

school kid, and she loved it. By the time she had her own children, she was a wealthy celebrity,

starring on one of the most popular and beloved shows in television history. But Cynthia was determined

to send her kids to public school too, and that was the catalyst.

Cynthia was outraged to see how much the schools had changed.
