Hey everybody Rob Maurer here. Welcome back to Tesla Daily. Today we've got a handful of updates on the cyber truck, including more people being invited to order,

0:14.0

an awesome new video from Sandy Monroe going through some of the engineering details with some of

0:17.6

Tesla's team and a few other updates as well.

0:20.5

All right, looking at the stock slower starts the week for Tesla down 1.7% to $239.74, while the Nasdaq

0:26.4

was up 2 tenths of a percent on the day today.

0:29.2

We'll start off with Cyber Truck Orders, so after a week or so of not really hearing anything on the progression of any orders from customers.

0:35.4

Tesla has now started to send out those invitations to configure cyber trucks, and this is only right now for the foundation series,

hundred of these invitations to order.

1:03.7

1:06.9

There have been some other reports of people in other states getting the

1:09.6

invitation too, but then maybe a little bit of clarification that they had at the time of reservation

1:14.6

then in California or Texas. So I think still a little bit of uncertainty around that. And in terms of the sequence of invites,

1:20.6

it doesn't seem to be 100% sequential to reservation number.

1:24.0

Some people have noted that they were invited for a later reservation out of multiple reservations that they have.

1:29.0

So we don't have a perfect understanding of how Tesla is handling this yet,

1:32.0

but I would have to imagine it's in part based off of geography, in part based off of a sequence, and then maybe there's some other attributes that are getting mixed in.

1:39.0

So we'll try to get a better understanding of that, but either way, very exciting to start to see these invitations

1:43.6

open up a little bit more which I think is a positive sign for the production
