Hey, folks, Scott Weingard here, bringing you a CV cardiovascular MCRIT Wii.

0:05.7

Now, a few weeks ago, Trina and I did an episode on Electrical Storm.

0:11.8

All things, electrical storm leading up to the need for mechanical circulatory support.

And we stopped the episode at that point.

0:19.5

This one's a little different.

0:20.5

This one is specifically for electrical storm on patients already on VA ECMO.

0:26.5

And this will be of particular interest to cardiovascular intensivists.

0:31.0

Though, you know, anyone who has an interest in the subject matter may get some stuff out of this.

But really, this is for a very subset population of

1:36.2

So maybe it was your post-cardiac surgery patient that couldn't separate from bypass.

1:40.6

Maybe it was the cardiac ICU patient that has an end-stage cardiomyopathy that our plan is to bridge to advanced therapy is like an LVAD or a heart transplant.

1:49.8

And now suddenly you're thinking, we're on VAFMO, but you are sitting here in electrical store.

1:55.3

And the question is, how do I approach these patients?

Some things are going to be similar to part one of the podcast, and some things
