It's been a long time for our viewers and our listeners. It has not been a long time for us. We just got back from the Sloan Sports Analytics Conference last week. We're going to talk about that a little bit on today's show. Really, that's going to frame our conversation, but also spring football is here, so we can talk a little bit about some of the work

that y'all are doing there. And maybe we'll save a little stick talk for the end of the show

because we got Nick producing today and we have some fresh drumsticks in there so we can tell

the drum the drum stick story, but we'll save that for the end. That's in the industry, that's what

we call a little teaser there. There you go. I'm learning. Good to have you guys back in the studio,'s what we call a little teaser there there you go i'm learning uh good good to

good to have you guys back in the studio though um before we get into the sloan talk spring football's here

y'all are now in the thick of it i guess we get a little break next week with spring break but um early

thoughts on spring football and um how the tigers look going into the season, into the spring season.

I think, again, you won't be able to really get a full evaluation until you, you know,

get a little bit deeper into it. But, you know, the nice thing is, and Mario could, you know,

agree or not agree with me, but I think they've think they've always had a great knack of bringing in the players so with the need.

So I think that's where the transfer portal has been very successful for us at LSU, because we've even looked at that information and we've we have been very very productive from the

portal side but I think just watching how the guys move the way they've been you

know we're doing morning practices for the first time so a lot of the guys are

adapting to that and I think they're adapting well.

But right now the team looks fast.

I mean, you know, we're just in helmets, but I think everything that the coaches were hoping for,
