Can you remember a time when you were faced with something you had done wrong and it hit

you so powerfully that you just couldn't stand it.

You had to do something about it.

Your heart was convicted so deeply.

Can you remember a time like that in today's passage we are going to read about a circumstance

where many people were impacted in a way like that but before we get there I have so special

people that I want to thank.

All right, let's dig into that passage that I was telling you about where all these people

received a sense of conviction about something they had done wrong.

Now this is contextually right at the tail end of the very first sermon that the Apostle

Peter taught.

And so he finishes speaking and here is the description that it gives us of how people
