1:47.7	Nobility and officers rode their horses back along the road,
1:51.3	and were back in the capital within a few days.
1:54.8	The foot soldiers had no choice but to walk, a long journey home.
2:01.2	Among them was a young soldier, Theagold.

2:47.5	The war began, as so many do, with murder. The old emperor had been killed in his sleep,
2:53.0	age having finally caught up to him. He'd grown soft in the heart, and some say soft in the head. He read poetry and ignored his military advisers. Such is the way of certain emperors.
3:02.5	The new emperor was not like that. He was clever, deadly. He knew when to strike. And strike he did. The old emperor's
3:13.2	death was mourned by few, most welcomed the age of expansion, promised by their new ruler.
3:19.3	He reminded them of the old emperor, when that emperor had been young.
