But first, one of the key figures of the 2024 college football season was Indiana coach, Kurt Siketti.

Indiana makes the playoff in his first year as their head coach.

They go from 4 and 8 to 11 and 1 in the regular season.

They lose to Notre Dame in the first round of the playoff.

Ari, I don't think Kurt Signetti expects any drop off this year.

And I think that's not what probably the casual college football fan is thinking.

I think most people are like, oh, Indiana, great little story last year. Could Indiana be a

playoff contender again this year? Yeah, no, I think they could. They lost their quarterback and then

replaced him with somebody who, you know, was very coveted in the portal.

They have one of the best receivers in the game.

They've got one of the best corners in the game.

Like, they have good players at a lot of key spots.

And I think that that's the number one challenge that, you know, Indiana faces, Arizona

State faces, teams that have in the past had fun years or interesting years,

you know, fade back to the mean and become themselves again. Like, what does Indiana have to do

to not have 20, 24 just being an interesting, fun season that people remember and that being

the beginning of something? Like, those are two different things. And, you know, Arizona State coach, Kenny Dillingham kind of said this at his media day appearance too. It's like, well, what do we have to do to be excellent more than one year? Like, you know, how do we make that jump? How does that become what's expected and not what's cute? You know, like, and that that's a big deal and i think that kirt signetti

is at indiana for you know what seems to be a long period of time he got locked up a nice

little contract extension a year ago like can indiana be a team that isn't just the one that

causes all the college football playoff discourse disaster conversations you know, like that is what this year's about for them.
