Experiencing a spacecraft and observatory launches is always an incredible, an incredible feat.

You watch this thing lifting off, it's just saying goodbye to your baby.

At that point, we've done all we could.

We can only just cross finger, say everything will be fine.

That will be the culmination of all the world for all these people that have spent years to

get to that point.

I will have shivers down my spine.

After years of planning, building and testing,

the most powerful and complex space telescope ever designed

will soon launch into space.

The James Webb Space Telescope is about to embark on a journey like no other. From its final destination, a million miles away, Webb will gaze out into the universe,

searching for answers to some of life's most captivating questions.

What makes us human beings, I think it's curiosity and the capability to learn from the past.

Where did we come from? How do we get here? Are we alone in the universe?

These are questions that almost everyone asks at some point in their life. What we hope to learn from web is more about our universe, the building blocks of how we got here.

The Web Telescope will attract the attention of everyone because we're going to discover things nobody ever knew about.

We are all composed by star dust and these new capabilities will bring us closer to the

origins of the universe and closer to the origins of life.

And this is simply thrilling.
