The White House is very big, and it's got lots of rooms.

So what is Washington, D.C.? Washington D.C. is the capital

of the United States. That's true, but it wasn't always that way. The original capital of the United

States was Manhattan, New York. Before George Washington's second term came to an end,

the capital moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the year 1788, James Madison, who would later
