0:28.1	Last week we got curious about bugs.
0:31.2	Towards the end of the episode, we discussed the declining numbers of insects worldwide
0:36.1	and the potential risk of extinction.
0:39.4	It made me really, really sad.

0:43.2	Olivia has a really big heart, and she felt bad for the insects because she didn't want them to go away.
0:49.7	But there are two reasons why she doesn't need to worry.

0:55.2	For every human, there are 200 million insects.
0:58.5	It's obviously very hard to estimate the number of insects in the world.
1:02.7	But it is believed that there are about 200 million insects for every single human.
1:07.7	So there are still lots and lots of insects.
1:10.6	Also, now that people know there's a problem, they can fix it.
1:15.1	That's right. People are starting to realize that insects are going to be in trouble if the
1:19.6	numbers continue to go down. So hopefully we can make some changes as humans to help insects
