Hello and welcome back to the Curious Kid Podcast. Most of the kids that listen to Curious Kid podcast are between the ages of 5 and 12. We have younger listeners and older listeners, but 5 to 12 seems to represent most of our curious kid listeners.

This week, we're going to learn about a topic that many kids that age don't know much about.

I know I didn't know anything about it when I was that age.

That doesn't mean kids shouldn't know about it.

For example, we got curious about jury duty

a couple of months ago. Even though kids can't serve on a jury, learning about jury duty is important

because chances are you will be asked to serve on a jury when you get older. Same with the topic

we're learning about in this episode. Even though many kids don't need a jury when you get older. Same with the topic we're learning about in this episode.

Even though many kids don't need to know about it at such a young age,

it's something you're definitely going to want to know a lot about as you get older.
