Hello and welcome back to the Curious Kid podcast, Season 2.

Buckle up because we have a lot of things planned for season two.

We sure do. And the fun starts right now.

This week we're getting curious about dolphins.

Dolphins are really amazing animals. and we have a great guest here in the studio that is going to be able to give us incredible insight into dolphins that only a few other people out there would have.

She is also going to answer our question of the week.

Dolphins have two or three stomachs. Why do they need that many stomachs?

That's really interesting. If I had more than one stomach, I would use one of them for

cinnabuns only. I wonder why dolphins have more than one stomach, though. It probably has

nothing to do with cinnabonds. Dolphins are very smart and social animals.

They are. Their brains are about four or five times larger than other animals their size.

They are able to communicate with each other using a language.

Humans don't understand. They are able to experience emotions.

They are great learners and they are also able to teach each other. You are able to experience emotions. They are great learners and they are also able to

teach each other. You were able to see how smart dolphins are when you had a chance to swim with

dolphins and help train them for a day. Tell everyone what that was like. One of the dolphins I trained,

his name was actual.

And when I, like, put my fist up and, like, a two-to train, he clapped his flippers.

That sounds like so much fun.

Dolphins are so smart and playful.

Let's clarify two things about dolphins that people often confuse.

A dolphin and a porpoise are not the same.
