and that means that daylight saving time ends in many parts of the world.

In other words, there is a pretty good chance that in the middle of last night, the clocks

went back one hour.

I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's true.

Every time daylight saving time starts and ends, I'm always thinking, why in the world

do we do this?

Can't we just keep things as they are and not bounce back and forth?
