Halloween is just a few days away.

Last year to celebrate Halloween, we did a whole episode on candy. If you haven't heard it yet,

you may want to check out episode four of Curious Kid Podcast. You will learn a lot about some of the most popular Halloween candies. This week, we are doing another special Halloween episode,

but you may not like our topic today

as much as you like candy.

This week we're getting curious about bats for Halloween.

We are.

If there is an animal that comes to mind during Halloween, it's usually the bat.

But why is that?

Is it just because people think bats are scary and Halloween is a spooky

holiday? Let's try and find out. What's the question of the week? The question of the week is,

what is guano? Interesting. What is guano? While you were trying to come up with the answer,

let's get batty. Bats are mammals just like us.

They're the only mammals that can fly.

This deserves some clarification. Some of you may know that flying squirrels are also

mammals, and as their name suggests, they must be able to fly also.

But flying squirrels don't fly, they glide.

And gliding is not the same as flying, so flying squirrels don't fly.

Bats on the other hand are really good at flying, even better than birds.
