We've done a bunch of episodes on animals and we've learned so many interesting facts about them that we didn't already know.

One thing we haven't really done yet is learn about lots of different

That's an awesome email. We are getting curious about Australian animals this week for Yitzhawk.

When we got this email, I didn't even realize how many different, amazing Australian animals there are to get curious about.

Then I started doing the research, and I was amazed.

Australia has so many fascinating animals.

Some of them are super cute, some of them are a little strange, and some of them are quite dangerous.

There's a little bit of everything. It was a challenge to come up with the list of just a few Australian animals to get curious about so that this episode

doesn't go on forever. There is so much to learn. So let's get started. What's the question

of the week? The question of the week is, what kind of animal is a thorny devil? Wow, that's an

interesting name for an animal. It is also sometimes called a thorny dragon.

It has that name because it has spikes all over its body for protection. Can you guess what kind of

animal the thorny devil is? Okay, there are two animals that come to mind immediately when I think of

Australia.
