Friday lecture delivered in Accra Ghana- Curing the heart Here, the mufti takes to the mimbar to educate and inform us about the importance of a clean heart, one that is pure from impurities. Just like scum that leave their mark in our baths, so do habits like envy, anger, selfishness, pride leave marks on our Iman. If not cured, these lead to violence resulting in deaths and in some places are already leading to killings, as was predicted by our beloved prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Withverses of the Quran and hadiths, our mufti educates us on the crucially required curing of our hearts. Listen to this talk and increase our knowledge and our chances of earning the pleasure of Allah.

0:30.0	My beloved brothers and sisters in Islam, it is important for us to be conscious of Allah or maker.
0:58.9	He has given us a short space of time on earth in order to earn his mercy so that we can enter into his paradise.
1:16.9	And he has set for us a beautiful example in the life of Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
1:24.9	We draw from beautiful lessons and instruction and we derive from it the method of worship that Allah has chosen for himself Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
1:38.9	And therefore I advise yourselves and myself to fulfill your duty unto Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to ensure that you understand the reason that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has created you and I.
1:55.9	I wish today to address a very important matter and I will start off by speaking about an organ within the body that has no bone.
2:07.9	In fact it is very complicated. It is filled with muscle, it is filled with blood and it is considered a piece of flesh as per the Hadith of a Nermanip Libexil,
2:21.9	Radya Allah on who is a Muslim. He says that the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam has told us.
2:29.9	And then he goes on to make mention of quite a few things that at the end of that narration he says that the messenger Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:38.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:44.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:47.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:51.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:55.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
2:58.9	If the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
3:01.9	And if it is corrupt and filled with sickness then the entire body shall be corrupted and filled with sickness.
3:09.9	What is the organ? He says,
3:11.9	Behold, it is the heart.
3:14.9	My brothers and sisters, let us all ponder today over the condition of our heart.
3:20.9	You know that when a person is sick medically, they do what is known as a blood test in order to verify what exactly the sickness is.
3:30.9	And that will determine the precise levels of the minerals, the vitamins, the sickness, the disease, whatever it may be, the sugar, etc. in your body.
