Hi there.

So I was thinking about giving us like a name like if we were Cuphead Mugman and

Miss Chalice and but then I realize I'm more of a pork grind.

So I figure we could just, our personalities will develop as we end up talking through

this game.

But in order to talk about the game, we need to actually talk about what the game is.

So what is Cuphead?

I've kind of put it down as a 2D Boschrush bullet hell battler,

where Cuphead and his pale mug man are attempting to collect souls for the devil

in order to save their own.

I put down a few inspirations here as Mega Man, Contra, Gyrus, and perhaps punchout.

Is there any other inspirations you guys think maybe this game draws from?

Yeah, I mean, obviously from the kind of tradition of like vertically and horizontally

scrolling shoot-em-ups in the like bullet hell format.

But I don't know like any in particular that really stand out to me.

And that's probably just because I'm not like super well-versed in the genre.

Right, right.

I think it is just the genre in general.
