Hello, brilliant. And welcome. Hello everybody and welcome once again to The View from the Lane, the Athletics podcast about Topham Hotspur Football Club.

I'm Danny Kelly. With me this morning, full crew. Lots to talk about. We've got Jack Pitt Brook,

Elias Burke, who was at the game last night, and Jay Harris coming in live and direct from the Afcon in Morocco, where get out your tiny fiddles, he tells me that the weather's been terrible the whole time he's been there for the tournament in North Africa. The defeat last night at Bournemouth, we all talked about the game, but so much has

happened since the game that I think we should start with the reaction from fans, from players,

of course, not from anybody higher up at the club.

It is amazing to me that we will,

there's so much going on now at Spurs

that Paliniya's great goal,

perhaps the best of his career,

certainly the best of his career,

will hardly get a mention

that Thomas Frank and the Arsenal Cup

will be put down further in the running order

when normally it would be the headline. But that's where we are. I'll start with you, if I may, Elias, because you were there last night, and we'll talk about the game later on, because we've seen that movie before. Late goal from the edge of the box, nobody closing down. To some extent we've seen that game, although, you know, as performance, perhaps a little bit better from a low bar

than it has been in recent times. At the end of the game, several Spurs players, senior Spurs

players, parts of the leadership group in some cases, were seen in conversation, if that's the right

word, alias. What happened at the end between the fans and the players? Obviously, it all came to

ahead at the end, but I think you can probably go back to a moment

before the game where those splits probably even became even more stark than they have

been even in recent weeks.

Obviously, fans right now are very frustrated, angry with what's happening at the club.
