Eh, fuck it, we're keeping it.

There's an episode of the West Wing where the president can't get his address right, and they spin the whole episode of him just trying to record a real simple, easy speech, and he keeps flubbing it.

And I think about it all these many decades later, for but the one joke that after flubbing it for hours

and hours and hours at night when they started recording it that afternoon Martin Sheen begins the

recording with good evening and somebody says stop and everybody goes what what what is it now

he says it's evening he said it's evening. He said good evening.

And everyone went, it is evening.

He goes, yes, but when this plays, it's a morning address.

Forest for the trees and all that.

Ah, so I guess you can, you can guess what time I'm recording this in.

But isn't that a fun thing?

Because it's part of my slowly evolving to be true schedule.

A funny thing about me,

lifelong, I have not really wrestled with sleep,

but I've made a lot of rules with sleep and what have you.

And people think I'm insincere about them.
