And we specifically talked with her about friendship.

I mean, who doesn't like to talk about friends?

We do like to talk about it and think more deeply about it, which is why I think we loved her book.

Ever since reading it, you know, I've just been thinking about this topic of friendship.

The Colson Center talks a lot about how we're positioned in our place in time on purpose, right?

In our place in this world, no matter who you are, we're called to relationship because that's how God designed us.

But our relationships, if you can imagine kind of us in the center, and then there's our relationship with God, our relationship

with others, and our relationship to ourselves, and our relationship to creation. And when you

twist or chop or whatever that relationship to God, then all the other relationships will be distorted because we'll

have a wrong view of ourselves. We'll have a wrong view of what other people are for and what

relationship is for. And we talked about that a lot with Kelly because in her book, she does a great job of kind of bringing up

when our loves are not ordered correctly then we're going to look other places to meet

those needs because we do have relational needs and we know ultimately that our needs

are met in Christ.

It's not a one-time thing, right?
