I hope you guys have had an amazing week.

I'm here to talk to you today about the culture of speed and greed, let's face it.

It just seems like here we are and we're just completing the first week of October.

And I don't know about you guys, but if you've crawled out from underneath your rock

and you've made it out into any kind of major retailer,

you've seen already that Halloween is among us.

Halloween's here, people.

But I think that I got the message that Halloween was here, like, the third and fourth week

of September.

So it's pretty amazing how we have all of this stuff just reminding us that the end of the gear is upon us. So they're rushing us already. It's not even the second week of October and we already have these Halloween accoutrement everywhere. And I just remember as a kid not really realizing how quickly

time was flying by or maybe maybe to be honest with you time really didn't fly by back then

we were just a little less plugged in tuned in and we were just living our day to day. But these days, it just

seems like everything's in a massive rush. Everybody's in a massive rush. We're trying to get

from point A to point B as fast as we can and, you know, forget about what happens in the middle.

So that got me thinking. After Halloween, we've got Thanksgiving. So, of course,

there's all that planning for that. But then the next month is December, which, I mean, every major

religion has their major holidays, celebrations, the financial stress of it all is not escaping me.

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking, what is going on here?
