Some of my first and best childhood memories are listening to Bob Marley as a kid.

A lot of Aboriginal people were wearing the rustic colours, red, golden green

and seemed like everywhere I went. There was a lot of Bob Marley music.

Not many people know that Bob Marley is of mixed ancestry.

He has a father who's from Liverpool, England

and I think Bob even at times probably had to struggle with his identity.

Jera Thomas is a Bob Marley fan.

He's got the albums, the t-shirt and giant speakers that make his house

shaped or reggae beat. This song called Exodus is about people

finding their identity and returning to their culture.
