So, if you guys have questions for us, you should come on down to these mics up at the front, and we'll try and answer them.

0:15.7

All right, you're first.

0:16.6

Yes, all right.

0:17.2

I expected a rush.

0:19.5

Thank you so much first for coming to Seattle, and it kind of reigns into my question.

0:25.0

I guess more of a comment on just sort of a – I find – I'm an actor and a puppeteer

0:31.5

here in Seattle, and kind of experience what I find is like sometimes an East Coast biased

0:36.4

when it comes to cultural

0:38.2

and artistic ventures, which in itself isn't such a bad thing, but it seems to have a odd

1:29.7

hipster and whether hipsterism is over. But the hipster we had in our heads was a very particular

1:34.3

New York hipster. And of course, there's a different breed of hipster in every major city in

1:38.7

America. And I wish we had more perspective on that. I mean, one of the virtues of Slate is that

1:43.8

we are virtual, so we can have correspondence from abroad. But technologically, as we put the podcast together, sometimes it just has to be the three of us in the room that day. But, yeah, no, I think you're really right about this sort of myopia of the media in putting New York in L.A. front and center all the time.

2:02.2

Yeah, it's tough. I mean, we're stuck in New York. I mean, that's where we produce from.
