0:27.3	And you are a delegate, right? Tell us a little bit about what you do. You're a congresswoman?
0:34.3	Well, I'm in the state house in Virginia. In Virginia. Yeah. And this is your second term.
0:40.2	Just finished my second term and I'm running for my third term. Virginia is kind of unique.
0:45.8	It's, it's in California they call it the house assembly. Yes. The state assembly. So in Virginia,
0:51.7	they're called the House of Delegates. It's a throwback to, you know, when the founding fathers. And we're actually the oldest lawmaking body in the Western Hemisphere. So in the capital where we serve, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington, Patrick Henry, all served. So it's very historic and very interesting.
1:10.4	That's amazing. And you've been,
1:12.3	you've only been in politics four years. Yes. So, well, first of all, let's back up and tell
1:18.1	a little bit of your story, your Jesus story. Okay. You do have a Jesus story, right? Well, I always say,
1:24.3	my dad was a chap. My dad was an army chaplain I heard that and my mom had her
1:28.9	masters in Christian education and all that was before they were even married so I always say
1:34.2	Jesus was a part of our family from the get-go so I I've always believed and I realized as I got
1:41.0	older I did I was given the gift of faith, so I never questioned. I never wondered,
1:46.6	is it really true? I always knew it was true. But that can cause problems too because it's like
1:52.6	he's my homeboy, but you know, and you forget he's holy and there's an expectation. So that's where
1:59.4	I kind of went south a little bit.
2:01.6	Was your dad or grandfather also a delegate?
2:04.5	My father-in-law.
