We're in a pretty good rhythm right now, so we're going to keep the hits right on coming. This episode is actually one of the first ones that I had

on the board when I started formulating unfucking the republic. I had a chance to visit Cuba

with my partner in crime right as Trump was coming into office, and the time we spent there

stuck with me more than literally any other place that I've traveled. And what's fun about telling

Americans that you visited Cuba is they're like, whoa, man, what's it like you just got back from

the fucking moon? And Canadians are like, oh yeah, isn't it great? Me and the wife love getting

out and about in the classic cars, eh? What I can tell you up top before we spiral into the Cuban

abyss is that it took me a few days to wrap my head around this Little Island Nation.

It was like every preconceived notion I had about it was just fucking wrong.

There was a healthy mix of controlled government narrative bullshit that they jammed down our throats as clear tourists,

which only served to counteract the bullshit narrative that the U.S. had been shoveling down our throats since for, I don't know, fucking ever. The genuine experiences we had mixing with the Cuban people,

in full disclosure, we only spent time in Havana, and Cuba is so much more than Havana.

They were delightful. Everything was eye-opening, and the people were just chill as fuck.

Our biggest takeaway was the fucking music. We fell in love for life with the music and it
