And today we thought it would be fun because I've talked about a lot of different

Charlotte Mason topics with Leah before in the past, but we haven't specifically

dove into mother culture. And since in the Patreon

developing ourselves as women and keeping our minds sharp and all that sort of

things. So I thought it would be a fun month to talk with Leah about it because I know that she

has a lot of knowledge about this subject. And yeah, I kind of just want you to run with it.

Like, give us the plethora of where mother culture came from.

All right.

Well, and just to say here from the outset is that

this is not just something for home educators. Because it's often talked about within the

Charlotte Mason philosophy, which is ultimately connected with homeschooling. But mother culture

itself, it actually wasn't something Charlotte Mason

talked about, although the notion of it is, which I'll mention in a moment, but the term

mother culture, I do believe, came up, was a lady called Karen Andriola, who has been very
