and it's been raining a lot so that's on my mind yes it has it's been raining a lot where I'm at

also in two weeks I think is the buffer so I can no longer mention that you missed a week I do

But it has been raining a lot. And that's no fun. No, it's not. And it always dampens baseball

season, obviously, with outdoor games. But pun intended or what?

that was already planned um i'm putting word out to our our wonderful listeners here at coffee

talk i saw something that i wanted to talk about on our podcast. And I looked at it. And before I

could send it, Twitter did that thing where it updates and disappears whatever you were looking at.

And I lost it forever. And I can't find it anymore. And I'm starting to think that I dreamed it.

But what happened in this clip was that a pitcher, can't remember the pitcher's name,

attempted a pickoff move to first base.

Ellie De La Cruz was the runner.

Ellie dives back in.

First baseman throws the ball back to the pitcher.

And really quick, pitcher gets it, throws it right back to first base.

Only counts as one disengagement from the rubber.

And that was kind of the whole point of the video, I think, because everybody was counting like,

that's only one, right? He threw it twice, but it was only one disengagement. This clip has fallen

off the face of the planet. picked off Ellie last year.
